How To Mount Your Flat Screen

Before you get your hands dirty, please take necessary precautions and know where you’re about to start drilling. Be sure to accurately mark studs, electric wiring, etc as well as thoroughly reading the safety manual and whatever else comes with the mount and television.

If you feel comfortable mounting and positioning shelves and pictures, installing a wall mount should not be very difficult. Even if you feel like you can do this project on your own, you may want to get someone to help you lift the television into place and securely fasten it to the mount.

*DO NOT LAY FLAT SCREEN FLAT ON THE SCREEN. This can cause permanent damage.

Another thing to take into consideration is, can you life your Flat screen? If you want the wiring to be run inside your wall, it is highly recommended to hire an electrician. The Flat Screen wire itself is not suitable to be hidden inside the wall so that will have to be properly tended to as well as a recessed AC outlet will need to be installed. This would also be an opportune moment to have the electrician run your A/V cables as well as whatever composite cables you will want to run to your television.
